What is it?
===========
Diagnostic is a small app which shows you all SimpleMail's settings so you can
check them over in one place.


Installation
============
Just download the Diagnostic.pkg package to your Newton MessagePad.


Use
===
Tap the Diagnostic icon in Extras to bring up a slip showing SimpleMail's
settings.

The settings belong to your current owner card. To change owner tap the "sender"
picker in the top left corner of the Diagnostic slip and choose another; the
display of SimpleMail's settings will be updated to reflect your new choice.

If you have more than one SimpleMail entry in an owner card, a "Next" button will
be shown at the bottom of the slip. Tapping this displays the next SimpleMail
setting. A "Go Back" button will be shown, allowing you to go back through the
settings.

Tapping the Clear button (and confirming the action) will delete all SimpleMail's
settings from your Newton. You may need to do this if you're encountering
problems and want to start afresh, or if you decide to remove SimpleMail
completely from your Newton. Note that your owner "E-Mail" entries will also be
deleted.

All SimpleMail information shown in the slip is set by the Owner Info app. If
you've defined a SimpleMail setup, all values should be strings, for example
"pop.host.com" (with the quotes). Any other value, for example nil or doesn't
exist, indicates incorrect SimpleMail configuration which will probably lead to
the dreaded...

   "You need to set your owner card's E-Mail information ..."

error when trying to connect.
